Salesforce API Customer Care Portal
Challenge
Transitioning to Salesforce allowed Standard Imaging to combine product information, software licensing, warranties, support tickets, and more into a single source. Astuteo was asked to make the same information available to customers through a Customer Care portal in Craft CMS.
Solution
Astuteo collaborated with Flipbox Digital to integrate Craft CMS with the Salesforce REST API. We combined real-time product ownership data with the website's product catalog and support resources to create the ideal hub for Standard Imaging's customers.
A Single Stop for Customer Care
The key to success in this project was in bringing everything the customer needed under a single login. User registration was integrated with Salesforce to streamline the sign-up process for known customers while moving unknown users into a moderation queue for approval. Once logged in, Standard Imaging's customers are able to view and manage everything owned by their organization, in addition to renewing warranties, viewing support tickets, and finding technical resources.
